WATERS EDGE FRENCH BULLDOGS
Our Program
At Waters Edge French Bulldogs, raising puppies is about far more than producing beautiful Frenchies. Our goal is to give every puppy a healthy beginning and the foundation they need to become confident, well-adjusted family companions.
Our puppies are raised in our home in Southern Kentucky and are part of our everyday lives from the very beginning. We carefully plan each breeding with health, temperament, structure and genetics in mind, then devote the first weeks of each puppy’s life to intentional handling, socialization, enrichment and preparation for their new family.
Bred with Love. Raised with Care.

Raised With Purpose
From the earliest days of life, our puppies are raised through an intentional, age-appropriate puppy curriculum designed to build confidence and prepare them for life beyond our home.
We begin with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) starting at 3 days old and gradually introduce new sights, sounds, textures, surfaces, handling exercises and enrichment experiences as they develop. Puppies receive individual attention as well as opportunities to learn and explore with their littermates.
Our goal isn’t simply to raise puppies until they’re old enough to leave—it’s to help each puppy develop the confidence, resilience and social foundation they can carry with them into their new home.
Preparing for Home
As our puppies grow, we begin preparing them for the routines they’ll experience in their new homes. Litter box training begins around four weeks of age, followed by positive crate exposure using an open crate within their playpen. This allows puppies to become comfortable sleeping in their crate while maintaining access to their potty area.
We establish a consistent rhythm of meals, potty time, play, enrichment and rest while continuing individual handling and socialization. We also observe each puppy’s developing temperament and personality to help families better understand their new companion.
Our goal is to send home more than a puppy who has been loved and cared for—we want to send home a puppy intentionally prepared for their next chapter.

Health From the Start
Health is at the heart of every breeding decision we make. Our parent dogs undergo extensive genetic health testing, including panels covering more than 200 genetic conditions, so we can make informed pairing decisions with the health of future generations in mind.
Each puppy is closely monitored from birth and receives routine deworming at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age. Before leaving Waters Edge, puppies receive an age-appropriate vaccination, microchip and a comprehensive veterinary examination, including cardiac and patella evaluation and a fecal screening.
Every puppy also goes home with a one-year health guarantee, 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance and lifetime breeder support.
